
Affiliate Programs
Our faculty closely affiliates with the Department of Communicative Disorders faculty through the sharing of the Au.D. degree which is granted by both our College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and their College of Public Health and Health Professions.
Many of our Masters students in Speech Language Pathology program are involved in clinical practicum with the CD faculty and benefit from the mentorship of their faculty. The faculty in our department and Communicative Disorders work together to provide rich, varied clinical experiences focusing on evidence-based practice as well as exposure to cutting-edge research.
The doctoral program in Communication Sciences and Disorders is extremely interdisciplinary and tailored to the interests and goals of each individual. Over the years, our students have taken classes in a wide range of associated disciplines, including Educational Psychology, Special Education, Linguistics, Rehabilitation Sciences, Exercise Science, Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience.
